Are you concerned about the performance of your brakes or think they need to be replaced?
Grinding - When the friction material on brake pads are heavily worn
Squeaking - Brake caliper has stuck and the brakes pad remains partially applied to the disc but some pads have wear indicators that squeal when worn to let the driver know the brakes need changing
Pulsating - If you feel a continuous pulsating from the brake pedal whenever you apply the brakes, this indicates the brake disc has become warped due to excessive heat.
Pulling - if your car pulls to the left or right when you apply the brakes this is usually indicative of a sticking hydraulic or mechanical component such as a seized caliper.
If you require a new car battery, we can provide a new car battery replacement service and can dispose your old one for you. Your car battery is at the heart of all your vehicle's electrical systems, it is the only source of power to get your car started so it's important that you check yours regularly. Flat batteries are one of the main reasons for breakdown calls in the UK, especially on cold mornings, and you'll only really know something is wrong when your car doesn't start.
Regular servicing can help to identify issues early on that could later become costly and expensive to rectify. Take engine oil for example, it’s needed to lubricate and protect the moving parts inside your engine. Without it, your engine could seize up costing thousands to repair or replace.
Regular servicing can also save motorists money at the petrol pump. New oil and air filters make for a smoother running engine and a more fuel efficient car.
When car warning lights illuminate on your dashboard, an engine diagnostics check can help identify the problem before more serious damage occurs.
Most modern vehicles today contain an on-board computer known as an Engine Control Unit (ECU) which continually monitors the performance of the vehicle. Sensors all around the vehicle report back to the ECU if there are problems such as low fluid levels or increased engine temperature. When an issue is identified the ECU generates an error code. The relevant dashboard warning lights will then be displayed.
There are literally hundreds of potential error codes that can only be read by specialist vehicle diagnostic equipment. While a warning light may display on the dashboard alerting you to an issue, a diagnostics check is required to understand the full extent and cause of the problem.
A pre-purchase car inspection is an inspection carried out to determine the condition of a vehicle before purchase. It is advised to do a used car inspection to gather information on the car’s current condition (damage, maintenance, safety) to determine whether a purchase is a good investment or not. You do not necessarily have to be present for the inspection, as we will send you a full report via email or WhatsApp after the inspection, this will include photos and videos as well as the report and our thoughts on whether the car is worth the buy or not.
We carry out all types of works, no matter how big or small the job is, we are keen to take it on and ensure the repair is completed to get you back on the road.
